Any items considered dangerous to security are prohibited on board, such as scissors, razor blades, knives, nail files, umbrellas with a metal tip, syringes and other objects that can be used as a weapon. Besides, guns, firearms and tools that shoot bullets, stun devices, objects with a sharp point or sharp edge, tools, blunt instruments, explosives and incendiary substances and devices are not allowed.
The full list of prohibited items is contained in the EU Regulation. 185/2010 available at the following link

Some of these items can still be carried inside the checked luggage.
The EU legislation about the transport of liquids also disposes to bring on board liquids for a maximum of 1 litre divided into units of 100 ml, placed in a transparent re-sealable plastic bag that has to be shown to the staff of the security checkpoints.
Regional arrangements also limit the transport of pork fitted with oval health mark accompanied by a proper certificate issued by the official veterinarian of the establishment where you purchased it. Food with without this certification can be carried only if they have been purchased at the “sterile areas” (beyond the security checks) of the airport.
