Service Charter

The Service Charter is the tool that provides passengers and airport users with comprehensive information on the level of service Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport offers its users. This tool also allows the Airport Manager to monitor the quality of its services, implement a process of continuous improvement by setting continuous improvement targets, and benchmark its performance against other Italian airports. Therefore, the Service Charter also represents a declaration of the commitments undertaken by the Airport Manager to improve the quality of its services.

The Service Charter is drafted in accordance with the Guidelines issued by ENAC (Italian National Civil Aviation Authority) and contained in Circular GEN 06 of October 31, 2014. As per the methodology indicated in the aforementioned circular, monitoring of the quality standards of services provided at Olbia Airport is conducted throughout the year (low, medium, and high season) through both quantitative and qualitative surveys, in order to measure both the quality perceived by passengers of the various services and the quality actually provided by the Airport Operator.

Traffic recorded in 2024 was very consistent: Olbia Airport nearly handled 4 million passengers (3,852,279 passengers registered in 2024). The positive aspect is that the airport managed to adjust for seasonal factors, with steady growth in passenger traffic even during the shoulder months (April, May, and October). However, peak traffic continues to be concentrated in the months of June, July, August, and September, particularly in July and August, with extreme concentrations on certain days of the week (Saturday and Sunday) and certain time slots (Saturday and Sunday), during which the current airport infrastructure has sometimes suffered. However, the performance recorded and the perception declared by passengers regarding the quality of airport services have overall recorded very positive and satisfactory values.
