The new direct connection between Eindhoven and Olbia operated by Transavia was inaugurated today<sup><\/sup>. The first flight, operated with a Boeing 737-800 with 159 passengers on board, landed at Olbia airport at 9:20 AM<sup><\/sup>.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Passengers were welcomed by the Geasar Routes Development staff, who celebrated the arrival with a selection of traditional Sardinian sweets<sup><\/sup>. The low-cost airline Transavia, part of the Air France-KLM group, represents a strategic partner for the development of the airport and for the growth of traffic during the low season<sup><\/sup>. In 2026, the carrier increased its capacity to Olbia by 56% <sup><\/sup>and brought forward the start of the historic Amsterdam connection to February<sup><\/sup>.   <\/p>\n\n<p>The Olbia-Eindhoven connection will be operational from April 2 to October 24, 2026, with three weekly frequencies and over 36,000 seats offered<sup><\/sup>.
