Each passenger and their carry-on baggage will be screened for liquids, in addition to other items already prohibited by current regulations. The new rules do not place any limits on the liquids that can be purchased at shops located in areas beyond security checkpoints or on board aircraft operated by European Union airlines. It is advisable not to open the sealed bags in which these products are packaged until arriving at your final destination and to retain proof of purchase. These containers must be placed in a transparent, easily resealable plastic bag with a capacity no greater than 1 liter (i.e., approximately 18 x 20 cm).
