Checked baggage
Here’s everything you need to know about carrying luggage on a plane.
SIZE AND WEIGHT
The baggage allowance (weight and size) varies depending on the airline, destination, and class of travel. For domestic flights, it is generally possible to carry one suitcase in the hold and a second in the cabin. The permitted weight of checked baggage is approximately 20 kg for traditional airlines and 15 kg for low-cost airlines.
If the weight or number of pieces exceeded, an additional charge must be paid for excess baggage. It is important to contact the carrier to determine the maximum weight allowed.
Passengers are advised to label their baggage with their name and surname and to ensure that the checked baggage receipt is attached to the ticket upon check-in. This will be used to identify the baggage upon arrival. If your baggage is lost, please contact the Lost & Found office at your arrival airport immediately.
For further information on the CONDITIONS OF TRANSPORT, it is advisable to consult the web pages of the main airlines which operate at Olbia airport.
